Island Hospital consistently engages with medical professionals. This past Saturday afternoon was particularly significant, as General Practitioners joined us for our GP Symposium 2024 led by various specialists from Island Hospital. Topics covered included Robotic Surgery, Heart Failure, Cancer Treatments, and Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS).

The speakers from Island Hospital included Prof. Dato. Dr. Oh Kim Soon (Orthopaedic and Spine Surgeon), Dr. Lee Tjen Jhung (Consultant Cardiologist), Dr. Tang Weng Heng (Consultant Clinical Oncologist), and Dr. Lim Thien Thien (Consultant Neurologist).

Following this, there was a discussion led by the MMA (Malaysia Medical Association) Penang, and the evening concluded with a dinner gathering.
