Early Health Education Engagement with St. Christopher’s International School

Island Hospital was pleased to welcome a group of enthusiastic 4-year-old students from St. Christopher’s International School Penang for an engaging and educational afternoon.

Through a series of interactive activities, the children were introduced to various aspects of health and wellness in a fun, age-appropriate manner:

  • Dr Tan Pek Yong, Consultant Paediatrician, delivered an engaging session offering age-suitable health insights aimed at encouraging healthy habits from an early age.
  • The Nursing Education team facilitated a game-based introduction to basic human anatomy, helping the children recognise major body organs.
  • The Ophthalmology Allied Health team conducted simple vision-related activities to spark interest in eye care and visual health.

Island Hospital is honoured to contribute to the early stages of health education, fostering awareness and curiosity through interactive learning and play.
