Your Medical Journey: A Step-by-Step Guide
1. Pre-Admission: Getting Ready
Once your consultant recommends admission, you’ll discuss any concerns before giving your consent. The consultant will then initiate the admission process, and you can proceed to the Admission Counter.
If you’re using insurance or a corporate guarantee letter:
- Your consultant will arrange an admission date so you can obtain the necessary approval before your stay.
If you’re a self-paying patient:
- Simply register at the Admission Counter after your consultation.
What to prepare:
- Medical history
- List of medications
- Proof of identification (NRIC/passport)
2. Admission Process: What to Expect
At the Admission Counter, inform our staff of your payment method:
✔ Self-Pay
- NRIC/Passport
- A deposit (amount varies by procedure)
✔ Corporate Guarantee Letter/Insurance

AIA, Allianz SE, AXA, Berjaya Sompo, eTiQa, Great Eastern, Hong Leong Assurance, Manulife, Prudential, and more.
Pending Insurance Approvals?
- Pay a deposit to proceed with admission OR
- Wait (2-3 hours) for approval—our staff will notify you once confirmed.
Admission for Children (Under 12 Years Old)
- Passport is required.
3. Discharge: Ready to Go Home
When your consultant clears you for discharge, the ward nurses will initiate the process:
- The final bill is prepared — once ready, you’ll be notified to settle payment at the Inpatient Cashier Counter.
- If you have take-home medication, our staff will provide a slip for collection.
- For insurance/corporate-covered cases, we’ll request the Final Guarantee Letter (FGL) from your provider. You’ll need to wait for approval before finalizing your bill.
