Island Hospital was delighted to welcome over 70 young participants to Junior Doctor Day 2026, an afternoon filled with fun, learning, and hands-on experiences designed to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.

The programme began with an engaging session by Dr Nicholas Ong, Dentist, who shared the importance of maintaining good oral health. This was followed by an interactive presentation by our Nursing Team, introducing children to their very own “My Body Power Team” and how different parts of the body work together to keep us healthy.

Participants then embarked on a hospital adventure, rotating through the Pharmacy, Ophthalmology Centre, and Health Screening Centre. Along the way, they learned how medicines are prepared, discovered the importance of eye health, and gained valuable insights into preventive healthcare through interactive activities.
