On 10th August 2024, Island Hospital’s Little Explorers’ Kids Club hosted an engaging and educational Junior Doctor Day. This event offered young participants a unique opportunity to experience the medical field firsthand, including an insightful talk by Dr. Ho Sheau Chui, our Consultant Paediatrician & Endocrinologist, who shared her experiences and the important role of doctors in healthcare.

The event featured several interactive stations designed to educate and inspire the junior doctors, including basic life support training in CPR, an exploration of human organs in a simulated operating theatre environment, and a session on the importance of hand hygiene. The day concluded with an exciting ambulance ride, giving the young participants a taste of the fast-paced world of emergency medical services.
