BLS Training by Twin Towers Medical Centre

On 27 July 2025 (Sunday), Island Hospital hosted a certified Basic Life Support (BLS) training session for healthcare teams from General Practitioners’ clinics, as part of our commitment to strengthening emergency readiness in the community 🚑.

This initiative is part of IHH Healthcare Malaysia’s nationwide campaign, “Ready For You: Your Partner in Emergency Care” 💪, aimed at equipping frontliners with essential, life-saving skills.

Participants were guided through vital emergency response techniques by our certified trainers, including:

• Early recognition of cardiac arrest ❤️

• High-quality chest compressions ✋

• Effective ventilation 💨

• Proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) ⚡
