Advancing Heart Rhythm Treatment with New Electrophysiology Technology

Advancing Heart Rhythm Treatment with New Electrophysiology Technology

Island Hospital recently marked the installation of a new set of advanced electrophysiology systems at our Heart Centre, together with our Cardiologist/Electrophysiologist, Dr Ma Soot Keng, and the dedicated cardiology team. This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing cardiac care through innovation and to providing timely treatment for patients with heart rhythm disorders.

Among the newly introduced systems is the WorkMate™ Claris™ System, designed to deliver industry-leading signal quality with ClearWave™ Technology. By reducing noise and enhancing signal clarity, the system enables specialists to make faster and more confident decisions during electrophysiology (EP) ablation procedures, ultimately supporting improved procedural efficiency and patient care.

We have also introduced the EnSite™ X EP System, a next-generation 3D mapping platform designed to deliver power, reliability, and efficiency in the management of arrhythmia procedures.

  • Power – Enabled by Omnipolar Technology, the system identifies true local signals and provides real-time data for more precise cardiac mapping.
  • Reliability – As the only 2-in-1 navigation mapping system combining impedance (NavX) and magnetic (Voxel) modes, it supports low-fluoroscopy workflows while maintaining high anatomical accuracy.
  • Efficiency – Its redesigned system architecture enhances EGM signal quality, allowing for faster diagnosis and a more streamlined workflow.

These advancements further strengthen our multidisciplinary approach to cardiovascular care, empowering our specialists to deliver precise and effective treatment for patients with heart rhythm disorders.
