International Spine Surgery Knowledge Exchange

Island Hospital was honoured to welcome a distinguished delegation of spine surgeons from Shuang Ho Hospital, Taipei Medical University, Taiwan.

Under the leadership of Prof. Dato’ Dr. Oh Kim Soon, our team shared advanced techniques and procedural skills in minimally invasive spine vertebral body stenting for osteoporotic fractures. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Oh has dedicated extensive work to advancing what is commonly referred to as keyhole spine surgery, paving the way for safer and more effective treatments for patients.

This meaningful exchange provided a valuable platform for international collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and the pursuit of excellence in patient care. 🌏💙
